McKenzie Arena Seating Chart
McKenzie Arena’s design features an upper and lower bowl. It has 100-, 200-, and 300-level seating.
100-level seating
The 100-level seating rings the basketball court on three sides, placing fans as close to the action as possible. UTC offers Gold Circle court-side seating for basketball boosters in front of the 100-level seating.
200-level seating
The 200-level seating is at the top of the lower bowl, encircling the basketball court. During concerts, the 200-level seats behind the stage are not used. If the stage is in the center of the arena, such as for WWE events, all 200-level seating becomes available.
300-level seating
The 300-level seating is in the upper bowl, ringing the entire arena. These seats often go unused during UTC basketball games, although you will find them in use during larger concerts and entertainment events.
During performances with the stage at one end of the court, concertgoers may sit in the area with the basketball court, usually as a general admission area.
Fans enter McKenzie Arena at one of three gates spread around the circular-shaped exterior. They climb stairs or a ramp on the exterior and enter the section between the upper and lower bowls.
Upgraded Seats
The upper bowl seating, which was constructed in 1982, featured Irwin Sating Gladiator chairs, which remain in place.
The lower bowl originally had telescopic platforms, but an upgrade involved installing telescopic bleachers. The lower bowl has Integra chairs and Infinity Seat Modules.
